Up there in the sky
my guardian angels live
they watch over me.
They give me hope and courage
in moments of need and pain.
I look up to them
when the sun warms up my face
I pretend it’s them.
A kiss on my nose or cheek
and a firm kick in the butt!
Before he sings his songs
he warms up with the classics
like ‘Beyond the Sea.’
The American Songbook
shows all his vocal talents.
And ‘As Time Goes By’
and I hear ‘My Foolish Heart’
I slip into gear
and sing ‘That Old Black Magic’
with a big ‘Smile’ on my face!
