Time Travel

They want time travel
but who has time to travel
or travel in time?

Travel provisos
then there’s time limitations
and destinations.

Local restrictions
then and now and later on
is it really safe?

How do we return?
The travel method unknown
does not instill trust.

I’d need to know more
before considering it
I know, I’m a bore.

    1. Thank you, I struggled with the haiku format as I wanted to use full sentences. But, poetry doesn’t have to be grammatically correct so this is the result.

  1. You’re not a bore at all! In my humble opinion people who want to time travel, or travel in general are the ones who are boring. It seems they are always seeking some sort of escape and their whole life is built around getting away. I actually left a dentist because the hygienist would talk non-stop about her trips while she cleaned my teeth. Other than talking about trips, she had not much else to offer in conversation. She was a dull person. You, on the other hand, offer great insights. I love this blog!

    1. I am glad you like to read my musings. Any travel back for me would just be darkened by grieving for the ones I lost again after getting back to the present. So, I will stay here and make sure that the ones who matter to me, know I care.
